Managed Copy provides buyers of Blu-ray disks to make a backup to a recordable Blu-ray disk, download a copy to a Windows Media DRM-compatible player, memory card or hard drive.

At the present time iPods, iPhones and other Apple devices are not included.

New Blu-ray players will probably have to be purchased to take advantage of Managed Copy.
