Why shouldn’t I just pay for repairs as they happen?
You can. The vast majority of times though this costs a lot more money, can lead to lost data and productivity and causes and immense amount of frustration. Won’t this cost me a lot more money?

If this won’t cost me more, how can you be making any money?
Good question! By being able to automate many processes, researching the best solutions on the market and buying them in quantity, we are able to keep our costs down. Our internal goal is to provide the necessary preventive maintenance on your computer so it won’t have any problems; and you won’t experience any frustrations. By detecting issues before they become problems, we are able to keep the labor at a minimum because it was caught in the early stage. Simply put, if we do our job right, you’ll be safe and happy and we won’t need to see your computer.

Why is your system better?
By constantly testing many different solutions (many which fail) we are able to put together a combination of programs and best practices from throughout the IT industry. Every week we test new approaches to issues and when we find something better, integrate it into our solution.

I don't live in Clifton Park, NY; can I join the HITman Family Assurance plan?
Yes, we provide computer support and protection for many "Family Members" who don't live in Clifton Park. We have "Family" in Troy, NY, throughout Saratoga County; and parts of Albany and Schenectady Counties.

Maybe I should just go to the chain store?
You could, that’s certainly an option. But because we are not locked into major agreements with device manufacturers we have no obligation to try and steer you to perhaps buying a new computer because there is a spiff on it. If you do need a new computer we will make recommendations and provide you with some sites where you can buy it directly, with no middle-man.

How can I get started?
Getting started is easy, simply fill out the form at the bottom and we will setup a convenient time to install the software, test the computer, and provide easy instructions on how everything works. In the event you forget or would like a refresher, we have a member’s only section on our website with video instructions. We can even log on remotely with your permission to step you through how the systems work.

My computer has a virus right now, can I still join?
Yes. We will even credit $100.00 of the cost of the virus removal when you sign up.

This seems like one of those hokey commercials I see on TV. How do I know you're legit?
We're not some large corporation located hundreds or thousands of miles away. We are located in Clifton Park, New York and have been here since the mid-nineties. Before then our company was located in Colonie, New York. We belong to the Southern Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce as well as the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce, and our Boss is a past Chairman of the Board for the Southern Saratoga Count Chamber of Commerce. We are very community friendly and our parent company donates to many not-for-profits such as the Northeast Regional Food Bank and local religious organizations.

How much will this cost?
There may come a time in the future when we may ask for a favor, and that time may never come. Sorry, getting caught up in the moment! The cost for a desktop is only $30.00 per month and a notebook is just $35.00.

Can I use this plan for my business computers?
This particular HITman Family Assurance Plan is tailored specifically for the home/family user. We do have plans designed where the computer is being used specifically for business purposes and work with companies from as small as two or three people to those which employ hundreds. What happens if I need a part?
We stock a wide variety of parts in the event a family member is in need. In the event we don’t have the needed part, we have access to a broad range of highly reliable suppliers available to us. In the event your computer needs a part we will price it out and call you with the amount. Depending on how quickly you need it we can get it next day.

What types of computer services do you offer?
We provide a variety of computer hardware and software repair services. We have sophisticated data retrieval solutions in-house with a very high success rate; we go just shy of clean-room services. Installation of motherboards and even replacement LCD displays in notebook computers is no problem.

What happens if I get a new desktop computer or notebook?
As long as you are a HITman Family Assurance Member we will transfer all of your information from one computer to the other at no charge. In addition your new computer will be the one covered by the HITman Family Assurance program.

Will you help me setup email on my smartphone if I am a HITman Family Assurance member?
We are happy to, and if you would like shopping or buying advice we have extensive knowledge with smartphones and how they connect with various email solutions.

If I have a computer problem, how fast will you respond?
We respond to ticket requests in under 30 minutes; if you call in and a tech is available, they will speak with you immediately.

Do you offer discounts for multiple computers in the same home?
At the moment we don't; as time goes by though we may.

When can I bring in my computer to get setup?
Our office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.

If I have a problem with my computer at home and don't want to bring it in, will you make a house call?
We do offer house calls and HITman Family Assurance Members get a discounted rate. Each of the computers in the HITman Family Assurance program have high security software installed which allows us to work on your computer remotely when we get your permission.

What happens if I am on vacation and I need computer help?
Simply give us a call; HITmen are always on duty
